All our systems include a 1-year warranty on parts & labour. Please note that a $500 deposit is required in order to book the installation. Typically we book 2-4 weeks from the date that we receive the deposit, but it can vary depending on the supply chain timing. If a rush job is needed, we can do our best to accommodate it and an extra rush fee will be applied.
We only use high-quality materials for our installations so you can count on the system performing effectively. Our FanTech fans are top-of-the-line and designed specifically for Radon Mitigation systems. We also use 4” PVC schedule 40 piping as required by the Health Canada requirements for Radon Professionals in CAN/CGSB-149.12.
Budd Radon Services installs all systems in compliance with C-NRPP protocols and regulations, as required to maintain Canada-wide certification. This includes the installation of the proper piping, fan venting system, and sealing accessible foundation penetrations. We will ensure that the system is running at optimal performance by conducting a post-installation test to verify radon levels have been reduced to below 100bq/m3. We are committed to providing timely and efficient installation, and we will work with you to schedule a convenient time to complete the work.

Mitigation Systems
Concrete Basement Floor - Sub-Slab Depressurization (SSD) - $2499 +HST
This system is for homes that have a concrete poured slab foundation. This system involves creating suction beneath the foundation of your home using an inline fan. A hole is cut out through the concrete slab in your basement and 4” PVC Schedule 40 pipe goes from the hole to the fan, then continues outside to discharge the radon gas. This price includes pressure field extension diagnostics, communication testing, and sealing of potential Radon entry points.
Crawl Space Under Home - Sub-Membrane Depressurization (SMD) - $2999 +HST
This system is for homes that have a crawlspace below it with exposed soil. This system involves laying down and sealing vapour barrier to create a suction liner. A perforated tube is run along the crawlspace and connected to a 4” PVC Schedule 40 pipe. The pipe is connected to a Fantech Radon fan and then run to a discharge outside.

Heavy Duty cover with grommets for pipes and cords from your Sump Pit to create an airtight seal.
System Monitor & Alarm - $149 +HST
Battery Powered or Plug-in alarm (Your choice) to tell you when your fan is malfunctioning and not creating proper suction. If it is, it will alert you and let you know the fan needs further troubleshooting.
Radon Level Alarm - $225 +HST
This is a battery-powered device that goes into alarm when your radon levels go over 100bq/m3.
